India's first position in the ICC Test Championship

India won the first position in the ICC Test Championship.

India has secured the first position in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test Championship, while the New Zealand team has fallen to the second position after losing the first Test against Australia.

In the Wellington Test, Australia defeated New Zealand by 172 runs, after which Australia consolidated its third position on the points table.

Australia got 12 points from the victory, taking their total to 78 points.

On the points table, Bangladesh is fourth and Pakistan is fifth, West Indies is sixth, South Africa is seventh, England is eighth and Sri Lanka is ninth.
