Saladin killed Gregor and turned his attention toward Gaza. This prompted Abram to execute his other plan, causing Bloody Bernard to spread terror as soon as he arrived. Bernard not only put Saladin’s life at risk but also captured Damascus.
To save Saladin, Sultan Nureddin managed to rescue Saladin’s men first, and then Saladin himself. While Nureddin and Saladin worked to save Damascus from the Crusaders’ terror, they received news that Damascus had fallen. Moreover, Süreyya, Melike, İsmet, İlbüke, Rabia, and Isfahani were taken captive by the Crusaders.
