Expressing his decision to recall Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim from retirement, former captain Shahid Afridi stated that both are senior experienced players, and young cricketers will benefit from learning from them.

Speaking to the media, Shahid Afridi mentioned that his experience at the Qatar T10 league was good, emphasizing the significant impact fitness has on players. He suggested that if players get a one-month camp in Qatar, they will emerge as superstars.

He also remarked that it’s a good thing that the PCB has empowered the selection committee. However, there should have been a head of the selection committee.

Furthermore, responding to criticism on social media, the former captain stated that spreading animosity is not a good thing.

It should be noted that recently, all-rounder Imad Wasim and fast bowler Mohammad Amir had decided to come out of retirement from international cricket.
