Glamorgan Cricket Club signs contract with Pakistani fast bowler for season 2024

Glamorgan Cricket Club has signed a contract with Pakistani fast bowler Mir Hamza for the 2024 season.

Pakistan’s 31-year-old fast bowler Mir Hamza has represented the national team in five Test matches while he is also representing Karachi Kings in the current PSL Season 9.

Mir Hamza has been appointed to Glamorgan Cricket Club as a replacement for Michael Nesser who has moved to Hampshire.

“I am delighted to be joining Glamorgan for the County Championship this summer,” Mir Hamza said on the occasion.

“I am also excited to work with Grant Bradburn again who has worked with the national team before,” he said.

It should be noted that Mir Hamza has taken 434 wickets with an average of 22 in first-class cricket.
