Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi match canceled due to rain

The match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi was canceled due to rain.

The 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 was scheduled to be played between the teams of Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi which has now been canceled due to rain.

The first toss was delayed due to intermittent rain in Rawalpindi, while both the teams reached the stadium two and a half hours after the scheduled time.

After the rain stopped, the cover was removed from the outfield, but once again heavy rain started, due to which the staff covered the ground and the wicket again.

However, due to continuous rain, the match has now been canceled and both teams have got one point each while both teams have now left the ground.

It should be noted that Peshawar Zalmi has 7 points in 6 matches, Lahore Qalandar has managed to get one point after seven matches, even though this point was also obtained due to rain.

On the other hand, today's second match between the teams of Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators is to be played at 7 pm, but there is a possibility of rain in the evening in Rawalpindi, due to which it seems difficult to organize this match.
