Pakistan’s former under-19 football player Farhan Khan died in a traffic accident in Swabi district.

Farhan Khan has been representing PAF at the national level. He was part of the Pakistan football team that played the qualifying round of the AFC U-19 Football Championship 2019.

Meanwhile, the officials of Pakistan Football Federation’s normalization committee, former national captain Isa Khan and others expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Farhan Khan.

On the other hand, the police say that the incident took place on Jehangira Road in Swabi city where Farhan Khan was riding his motorcycle when a speeding vehicle suddenly hit him.

The police said that due to the delay in the arrival of the ambulance, Farhan Khan remained injured on the road for a long time and then he was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Swabi from where he was sent to the CMH Hospital in Rawalpindi.

According to police, Farhan Khan succumbed to his injuries while being treated at CMH Hospital in Rawalpindi.

The police have registered an FIR against the unknown accused, while Farhan Khan’s family is demanding the arrest of the accused and strict action.
